The Bizarre bazaar will present his 46th Christmas Collection at Richmond Raceway from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. December 3-4 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on December 5. The Holiday Market boasts over 475 exclusive exhibitors who will sell seasonal gifts, home and garden decorations, gourmet food, fine linens, clothing, artwork, jewelry and more. Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden will present the Dominion Energy GardenFest of Lights every evening from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. from Nov. 22 to Jan. 9 (closed Thanksgiving and Dec 24-25). The annual event features a million lights, botanical decorations, model trains, vacation dinners, family activities and more. The theme for 2021 is “Naturally Connected”. New for this year is a Poems of Positivity light installation created by the Orlosky Studio community. Tickets are $ 5 to $ 18 (children under three are free) and can only be purchased online. Glen Allen Cultural Arts Center will hold his Annual lighting and illumination of trees event on Saturday 4 December. Enjoy live music from Offering, the Midnight Ukulele Society and more, visit Santa Claus, shop for handcrafted gift items in the gift shop, and stroll through the center to see the exhibit of trees and wreaths craft. Free entry. The tree lighting program will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the illumination festival will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sponsored by ACCGA and Henrico Recreation and Parks. The Shady Grove Cafe at Unitarian Universalist Community Church, 11105 Cauthorne Road in Glen Allen, will continue its 20th season with the folk singer-songwriter Jean Gorka at 8 p.m. on Saturday 4 December. The concert will be held indoors so masks and proof of COVID-19 vaccination are required. Tickets are $ 25 in advance and $ 30 at the door. Children 12 and under are admitted free to all concerts; teens aged 13 to 18 are admitted at half price. The net proceeds benefit UUCC.
