Creative Continuum Exhibition at New Hope
It’s your last weekend to see the Creative Continuum exhibit at the New Hope Arts Center in New Hope.
The art exhibit celebrates the creative spark that drives an artist throughout their life and showcases 12 lifelong art makers and their work. This is part of the 20th anniversary season of New Hope Arts.
Gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Artists will be present to talk about their work and their process during this last weekend. Masks are mandatory and reservations are suggested.
Storytelling Event at Bucks County Playhouse
Mike Albo and Gastor Almonte return to the Bucks County Playhouse for an evening of storytelling at 8 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $35 and are available at BucksCountyPlayhouse.org or by calling 215-862-2121.
Albo is a writer, performer, and comedian whose solo shows include “Spermhood: Diary of a Donor” and “The Junket.” He is a published author and part of the long-running comedy trio “Unitard”. He will tell stories about the difficulty of navigating his colorful life in New York.
Almonte is an award-winning comedian, storyteller, writer and animator. He was recently seen in Peacock’s “True Story with Ed and Randall” and also appeared in Comedy Central’s “This Is Not Happening,” “Risk!” podcast and the “Story Collider” podcast. His story follows a recent health crisis that forced him to change his diet and go on a journey to find out what certain meals mean to him.

Wood burning workshop in Doylestown
Join Jackie from “The Wandering Artist LLC” for a woodburning workshop at Makers off Main, 38 E. State St., Doylestown.
Learn how to create different strokes, practice shading, and create a landscape with different textures. You will have the option to follow or choose from a variety of template designs.
The workshop is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays. Tickets are $75 and include the woodburning tool (which you can keep) and wood to carry on at home. Please bring and wear a mask to protect yourself from fumes while working.
