A prelude to Raulston Blooms! in-person plant sale, the Arboretum’s online plant sale ends Friday, April 15, 2022.
On June 10 and 11, JC Raulston Arboretum and Juniper Level Botanic Garden are combining resources to host the 4and Southeast Plant Symposium and Rare Plant Auction. This year’s program is live and in person in bustling downtown Raleigh and online internationally. “The Southeast Plant Symposium is designed for serious gardeners, people who love plants, nurserymen, nurserymen, horticulturists, botanists, plant nerds and plantaholics,” Weathington said. “It’s a high profile event, featuring many of the world’s top experts in botany and horticulture. If you want to learn more about plants, we want you there. Expert presenters include:
“We hope you will join us for two days of intense discussions and the chance to visit both the JC Raulston Arboretum and the Juniper Level Botanical Garden,” said Tony Avent, founder and owner of the Juniper Level Botanical Garden ( JLBG). “You will have the opportunity to chat with the speakers and participate in the now famous auction of rare plants.
“Many of the plants up for auction will not be found anywhere else in the world. We want to get plants out wherever we can, conserving them for science and for the good of all. “We promise you’ll walk away with a head full of gardening information and new plants you never thought possible,” Avent added.
