The Purdy Butterfly House is unique in northern Alabama because during peak butterfly season, which runs until September, you can find over 1,000 butterflies flying in the air. And over 25 different species, all native to northern Alabama.
“If you stand still, I’ve seen a lot of butterflies land on guests uninvited, so it’s a lot of fun.”
