  • WHAT: Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 28°
  • WHEN: Sunday from midnight to 8 a.m. — temperatures could drop to 32°C or below for 5 to 7 hours in parts of the region
  • IMPACTS: Freezing and freezing conditions could damage or kill sensitive crops and other vegetation. Exposed outdoor plumbing could possibly be damaged

It will be a relatively light freeze, so we don’t expect any burst pipes in the Brazos Valley. Temperatures may be low enough in parts of Madison, Leon and Houston counties to prompt residents to cover any exposed outdoor pipes or faucets. The main concerns with this gel are tender plants and pets. Be sure to bring your pets inside tonight and protect/cover any sensitive plants you may have in your yard, planters or on the porch.

Low temperatures are warming up slightly to start your work week.
