The Relics

The Relics is a highly anticipated new event taking place over Halloween weekend at the Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier on October 29, 2022. This immersive event that celebrates all things nightlife with a dramatic twist of circus and theater . Dance to the music of headliner DJs Laidback Luke and Drezo from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tickets start at $45.

New year on the pier

Count down to the New Year at this lavish party held at the historic Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier. The timeless setting is a beautiful backdrop for this over-the-top celebration that includes live entertainment, Chicago’s largest dance floor, a spectacular countdown, and an illuminated fireworks show over Lake Michigan at midnight.

In addition to the celebration at Navy Pier, GCE hosts more than 15 New Year’s Eve parties at top venues around town, in neighborhoods like River North, Wrigleyville, West Loop and Wicker Park.

St. Patrick’s Day Chicago

GCE produces 20 fun festivities during Chicago’s St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday – events take place from early morning until late night on the Saturday before March 17th. Events take place in a wide range of venues and areas of the city, from clubs in River North to pubs in Wrigleyville. Go green and be part of one of Chicago’s biggest celebrations of the year.

KY Derby Chicago parties

Every year on the first Saturday in May, GCE hosts the fanciest watch parties in honor of the famous Kentucky Derby. GCE offers some of the classiest mixing and Derby nights in Chicago. GCE provides tickets, table reservations and more for some of the best viewing parties of the year.

Tacos and Tamales Festival

Held in the Pilsen district in July, the Tacos and Tamales Festival offers authentic tacos on handmade tortillas and a variety of tamales from several regions of Latin America, all prepared by Mexican chefs. Live entertainment includes everything from traditional mariachi bands to the best of Latin pop. There are also local art installations and a beer garden offering Modelo beers. A suggested entry donation directly benefits community organizations in Pilsen.

Great American Lobster Party

The largest lobster and seafood festival in the Midwest, the Great American Lobster Party takes place over three days in late summer at Navy Pier. Live lobsters are airlifted fresh from the east coast for the 15+ lobster entrees that are offered. There are also other delicious seafood and non-seafood dishes, as well as vegetarian dishes and desserts. This fun festival features family activities, craft vendors and live music on the main outdoor stage. General admission is free, with the paid VIP Experience and Lobster Meal Experience offering perks like reserved seating and exclusive lounge access.

Wing Out Chicago

outside Wing Out Chicago A neighborhood chicken wing party is held annually in the Old Town district. Taste all the chicken wings you can eat, from classic buffalo to Asian ginger, concocted by some of the best restaurants in town. Enjoy drinks and live music in the parking lot of St. Michael’s Church while sampling more than 20 varieties of wings. Admission is free, with paid VIP options available.
