“Journey through the Americas and the Great American Songbook,” a solo piano performance organized by the Community Music Center. Marco Diaz, CMC alumnus and faculty member of the Mission District Young Musicians Program (MDYMP), takes you on a musical journey through the Caribbean and Latin America. Musical styles such as bolero, danzón, cha cha cha, tango, cumbia, son, merengue and stride piano have helped shape his multifaceted musical career. Diaz will also adapt the well-known standards of the Great American Songbook in rich styles of his choice.

COVID-19 requirements are subject to change by SFDPH by health ordinance.

The show is free with entry to the Botanical Garden. Free for San Francisco residents and children under 5. Non-residents: $ 10 Adult / $ 7 Seniors and youth aged 12 to 17 / $ 3 Youth aged 5 to 11
