The Fort Worth Botanical Garden | The Botanical Research Institute of Texas will host a sixth public engagement meeting to solicit feedback on the garden’s long-range master plan.
Meeting to welcome more Southeast Fort Worth residents will be held February 7 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Worth Heights Community Center, 3551 New York Ave.
In addition to providing online commenting capabilities via a website, five community forums are planned:
- January 26, 6:30 p.m. Clubhouse at Rockwood Park Golf Course, 1851 Jacksboro Highway.
- January 27, 6:30 p.m. at the Como Community Center, 4660 Horne Street.
- January 29, 10 a.m. at the MLK Jr. Community Center, 5565 Truman Drive.
- February 2, 6:30 p.m. at the Chisholm Trail Community Center, 4936 McPherson Blvd.
- February 3, 6:30 p.m. at Heritage Church, 4201 Heritage Trace Parkway.
Attendees of these community forums will receive a free family pass to the garden.

Forum agenda formats will include brief opening remarks with a welcome from City Council members, an overview of Fort Worth Botanic Garden | Botanical Research Institute of Texas, a summary of the overall planning process, a brief statement on “why” these meetings are happening, and a series of interactive conversations, listening sessions, and engaging planning activities. With the health and safety of all participants being a top priority, CDC guidelines will be followed.
