Looking for something to do this weekend? There’s something for everyone with these fun outdoor and indoor activities at locations across Queens!

Nai-Ni Chen / ALL ARTS Dance Company “Past, Present, Future” (Flushing Meadows Corona Park): Intercultural Dance Company Nai-Ni Chen combines the grace and splendor of Chinese cultural tradition with the spirit of modern New York dance. Summer Internship (Flushing Meadows Corona Park): This free music concert features musical artists ChocQuibTown, Nanpa Basico and Salt Cathedral. No ticket is required. cityparksfoundation.org. Admission is free and first come first served. 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

5th Annual Jamaica Bay Festival (Jamaica Bay): Savor the beauty of Jamaica Bay with family-friendly events like paddling the kayak parade, fishing, biking, sailing and more! jbrpc.org. Free. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.


Leading Communities of Care – NYC Mutual Aid Celebration (Queens Botanical Garden): Celebrate self-help groups in New York City with shows and activities at Queens Botanical Garden. eventbrite.org. Free admission with registration (limited capacity), $6 for adults and $4 for seniors. 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Moving Image Museum (Astoria): Check out exciting exhibits such as “The Jim Henson Exhibit”, “Living with the Living Dead” and “Behind the Screen!” General admission starts at $9 for youth (3-17), $11 for students (18+) and seniors (65+) and adults (18+) is $15. Socrates Sculpture Park (Long Island City): Admire the art in this free and interactive outdoor space. Current exhibits include “Subterranean Tropicália Projects: PN15 1971/2022” (Friday 11am-7:30pm, Saturday 11am-5pm, Sunday 11am-5pm; through August 14) and “Steel Bodies (until March 5, 2023). Queens County Farm Museum (Little Neck Drive): A perfect place for family fun, with activities such as hay rides, scavenger hunts and the chance to see farm animals. Free. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. queensfarm.org.
